Worried About Your Vision? You’re Not Alone

Many people notice changes such as:

  • Blurred or distorted vision
  • Difficulty seeing in low light
  • Dark patches or missing areas in vision
  • Gradual or sudden loss of sight

If you’re asking yourself “why is my sight getting worse?”, it’s important to seek medical advice. Alongside that, support is available to help you adjust emotionally and practically.

The Skiffington Trust can guide you towards services, information and local support to help you through the next steps.

“The Lady Margaret Skiffington Trust have been supporting Royal Voluntary Service in East Fife since 2008 to provide a community transport scheme for visually impaired people.  Volunteers play a fundamental role in helping to provide reliable transport and enabling visually impaired people to attend a medical appointment, go to the shops or simply to meet up with friends.  None of this would be possible without the ongoing support of the Lady Margaret Skiffington Trust.  This scheme really does make a huge difference to visually impaired people in East Fife.”
